How to Prepare for Your Morpheus8 Appointment

• Don’t take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications for one week prior to treatment. This will help minimize bruising.

• Don’t use retinol, topical antibiotics or exfoliants for 2 days prior to treatment so as not to aggravate the skin.

• Avoid sun exposure for 24 hours before your appointment.

At your consultation, Dr. Alkadri will examine your areas of concern and recommend one or more treatment options. If you are a good candidate for Morpheus8, he’ll give you more information about what to expect before beginning the treatment process.

1. A topical numbing agent is applied to the treatment area to help prevent any discomfort.

2. Dr. Alkadri customizes the device so that the depth corresponds with your treatment area and goals. He passes the handpiece over the treatment area in a consistent pattern until every section of the skin has been treated.

3. Treatment has little to no downtime, and patients can typically get back to their day right away. There may be a small amount of redness, swelling or bruising in the first few hours, but this will fade quickly. The treatment area can also be iced to help soothe the skin.

Is treatment painful?
